About the Role
Are you a passionate, dedicated, and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We're looking for an enthusiastic SEN EYFS TA to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the Oldham area.
You will:
- Support children with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and Speech & Language difficulties.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning support.
- Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to help pupils reach their full potential.
- Create a nurturing, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom management and contribute to planning and assessment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting.
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach to learning support.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a SEN TA or supporting children with special educational needs ideally Autism.
- A calm, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Level 2/3 TA, SEN, or equivalent desirable but not essential.
