Are you a Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role supporting children in a primary school setting? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic TA's to join welcoming schools in the Oldham and Tameside area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children's education while developing your experience in both mainstream and SEN support.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 as required.
- Providing additional support to children with special educational needs (SEN) on a 1:1 or small group basis.
- Assisting the class teacher in preparing resources and classroom activities.
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience supporting children in a primary school setting.
- Experience working with or supporting pupils with SEN.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to provide a minimum of 2 professional references covering the last 2 years.
- Competitive pay rates.
