Location & Pay: Oldham, £13.94 per hour, Permanent, Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (rota-based).

About the Role: We are recruiting for a Team Leader to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a support worker team.
  • Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
  • Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
  • Support activities, appointments, and community access.
  • Maintain accurate records and work as part of a team.
  • Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience leading a support worker team in a mental health & learning disabilities environment.
  • Health & Social Care Level 3 Adults preferred.
  • Experience supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
  • Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
  • Driver’s licence essential.
  • Enhanced DBS (covered by CareTech).
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Confidence to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, basic IT, written abilities, flexible and reliable.
