We are looking for a Level 3 Childcare Qualified Nursery Assistant to work in the Newport area. The position is part time, working 5 days a week, 12:15 – 15:45 term time only. This is a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Support children and develop their learning and well-being throughout the day.

Qualifications:

  • At least Level 3 qualified in Childcare
  • Minimum 6 months experience working with children
  • A calm, patient and caring persona
  • Good communication skills
  • Good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines

Safeguarding and DBS Compliance:

Registration involves an enhanced DBS check, ID checks and will require you to supply good professional references.
