Solo Service Group is recruiting a cleaning operative to join our team on a part‑time, permanent basis at Norton C of E Primary School, Old Tewkesbury Road, Gloucester GL2 9LJ. We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals to support the collective success of the team.
Position details:
- Hours per week: 10 hours (2 hours a day)
- Days of work: Monday, Friday
- Shift times: 15:30 – 17:30
- Minimum wage applies
Successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check for this role due to the setting.
Your main aim will be to carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning wash / shower rooms. You will also:
- Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
- Maintain health and safety standards at all times
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
- Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative while being part of a team
- Reliability and responsibility with a flexible approach to work
- Cleaning experience is preferred but full training will be provided if necessary
