Acorn by Synergie is proud to be working in partnership with Forestry England, recruiting Plant Nursery Workers to support the growth of the forests of the future.
This hands‑on role involves both indoor and outdoor work, helping to nurture millions of trees each year.
- Key Duties
- Take and plant cuttings.
- Lift seedlings from seedbeds.
- Carry out mechanical transplanting and netting of seedbeds.
- Hand‑weed and nurture young plants.
- Grade and prepare trees of all sizes.
- Package and check products ready for distribution.
Requirements
- Enjoy active, hands‑on work in outdoor and indoor environments.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to undertake repetitive tasks.
- Positive attitude and reliability.
