We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a respected Main Dealer in Northwich, Cheshire, for the position of MOT Tester.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced automotive professionals seeking a dedicated MOT Testing role within a well-established dealership environment.

Duties of the MOT Tester:
- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with current regulations and standards
- Carry out vehicle inspections, accurately identifying faults and reporting on service needs
- Perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and component replacements
- Complete Vehicle Health Checks to ensure ongoing safety and compliance
- Work independently in a busy workshop, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
- Document and update vehicle records systematically
Requirements of the MOT Tester:
- MOT accreditation or a strong willingness to obtain this qualification
- At least 3 years’ experience working within a vehicle workshop environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Honest, with high levels of integrity and professionalism as the MOT Tester
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and support colleagues as part of a team
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and skill development
