As a Customer Team Member, you\’ll be part of a friendly team that\’s dedicated to helping our customers.

We\’ll look to you to provide them with great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

Responsibilities

• Friendly and thoughtful service
• you\’ll put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co-op products and Membership, and doing all you can to deliver a great shopping experience
• Work together to make everyone\’s day better
• supporting your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members
• Make sure the store safe and legal
• keep the shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be
• Help introduce new products and services
• make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together
• get involved in all kinds of activities and events

Qualifications

• A genuine care for the needs of customers and members
• Great people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
• A positive approach to change and problem solving
• The flexibility to work a range of different shifts
