We are looking for a Full Time Coffee Shop Manager to join the team in our Coffee Shop in Weaver Vale Garden Centre. Our competitive salary is based on experience. The hours for this role are 45 per week over 5 days. All positions include regular weekend working so flexibility is a must. However, we have the added benefit of no evening work and no split shifts. Our Centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day which means time with the family on these important days.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the front of house and counters each day to company standards.
- Present menus, serve, and help customers select food and beverage by offering suggestions.
- Provide counter service and prepare beverages including barista bean-to-cup Illy coffee.
- Deliver in-house prepared meals to customers at their tables.
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to hygiene and cleanliness.
- Process payment at electronic till points.
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed.
- Close front of house areas each day to company standards.
Qualifications
- Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
- Barista experience preferred but not essential; full training will be given.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Great teamwork.
- The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure.
