Duties of the Accounts Assistant

  • Conduct daily banking reconciliation and postings accurately
  • Manage vehicle debtor controls and oversee sales commissions reconciliations
  • Process manufacturer invoice controls and postings
  • Perform general ledger and nominal reconciliations
  • Assist the accounts team with additional administrative tasks as required

Requirements of the Accounts Assistant

  • Proven experience in an accounts assistant role or a comparable finance position
  • Knowledge of financial reconciliation procedures
  • Familiarity with Kerridge system is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently when necessary
