Duties of the Accounts Assistant
- Conduct daily banking reconciliation and postings accurately
- Manage vehicle debtor controls and oversee sales commissions reconciliations
- Process manufacturer invoice controls and postings
- Perform general ledger and nominal reconciliations
- Assist the accounts team with additional administrative tasks as required
Requirements of the Accounts Assistant
- Proven experience in an accounts assistant role or a comparable finance position
- Knowledge of financial reconciliation procedures
- Familiarity with Kerridge system is advantageous but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently when necessary
