Overview

We are currently recruiting for experienced Reach Truck Drivers to join a fast-paced food manufacturing site based in ST5. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for ongoing, stable work with immediate starts available, with the potential to secure a permanent position. Please note: This role involves working in a freezer environment at temperatures of up to -25°C, therefore the ability to work in these conditions is essential.

Shift Patterns & Working Days

  • Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 21:30 – 06:30

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a Reach Truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Using a Pedestrian Pallet Truck (PPT) where required
  • Transporting goods across warehouse and freezer areas
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Picking and moving stock accurately
  • Following all health & safety and site procedures
  • Supporting general warehouse duties when needed

Working Environment

Work will be carried out in a freezer environment (up to -25°C). Full PPE is provided, including thermal jackets and protective clothing suitable for low temperatures.

Requirements

  • Valid Reach Truck licence – essential
  • Minimum 1 year experience operating a Reach Truck – essential
  • PPT (Pedestrian Pallet Truck) experience/licence – preferred
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or food production environment
  • Must be comfortable working in freezer temperatures (-25°C)
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work set shift patterns
  • Available to start immediately
