As a Senior Support Worker, you will provide care for older people in residential care. You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and personable. You must have strong verbal and written communication skills and have completed or be working toward your QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). You will build strong relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals; keep line managers informed of residents’ needs and progress. You will support the team to write care plans, follow guidelines and policies, and work as a team player. You will receive full training, including a leadership programme to support your development and progression.
