About this job:

The purpose-built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for those living with dementia.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of person-centred care and support your team to uphold these standards in everything they do.
  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
  • Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
  • Report changes in residents' needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working with older people in residential care.
  • Working towards or completed NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Flexible, patient, caring, organised, and good with people.
  • Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
