Responsibilities

  • Provide stimulation and encouragement to residents through entertainment, activities and community links.
  • Assist with fundraising events and functions to promote the Home.
  • Build good relationships with service users and their relatives.
  • Act in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Home.
  • Formulate an activity profile for each individual service user through liaison with care staff.
  • Ensure safe and proper use of all equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and legible records of service users’ activities.
  • Liaise with the senior nurse on duty regarding outings.
  • Research prospective outings in respect of access and toileting facilities.
  • Liaise with senior care assistants regarding relative medical or nursing care information.

Qualifications

You do not need previous experience or qualifications for this role. We will provide full training, including a leadership programme.
