What is to be expected as a Teaching Assistant:
- To work under the guidance of the class teacher in support of the pupils
- Assisting with the preparation of the classroom before each lesson, as well as tidying/collecting workbooks and materials after class
- Helping with reading groups
- Working on a 1-1 basis where required
- Attendance to school trips
- Being aware of child protection and safeguarding protocols
- Accompanying pupils whilst out of class
- Carry out general administrative duties
- Help and organise wall displays
