Are you compassionate, reliable, and ready to make a real difference in people’s lives? Our growing care agency is looking for dedicated Agency Support Workers to join our team across Risca and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks, using a person‑centred approach to ensure their needs are met.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Help clients maintain their independence and well‑being by supporting them in community activities and appointments.
  • Safely assist clients with mobility using Moving & Handling techniques, ensuring their safety and dignity at all times.
  • Support individuals who may display challenging behaviour, responding calmly and effectively to ensure a safe and positive environment.
  • Support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, promoting a sense of purpose and fulfilment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 6 months UK‑based experience as a Support Worker.
  • Experience or confidence in working with challenging behaviour.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a strong desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
  • Reliable and flexible, with a willingness to work varied shifts and locations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, using initiative and judgement to respond to client needs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
