Student Teacher’s Wanted for Newport

Are you currently a Student Teacher looking to expand your experience whilst you complete your teaching qualification? Education Supply Pool is a PAYE Employer recruiting for Student Teacher’s to begin work in Newport and their surrounding areas on a supply basis immediately.

Supply work is ideal for those wanting to experience different schools, retain flexibility around their work, and sharpen their skills before embarking on a more permanent placement. Holding a valid UK driver's license would increase opportunities for work.

The successful candidate:

  • On course to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE or a BA in Education
  • Have a minimum 3-month experience of teaching within a UK Primary or Secondary School
  • Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and maintain discipline
  • Plan innovative and creative lessons with the correct Education and Training
  • Liaise with other staff members to deliver curriculum
  • Maintain necessary assessment of pupils
  • Be able to inspire and motivate pupils

As a valued member of ESP, you’ll receive:

  • A minimum pay rate of at least M1 (Currently £110 per day)
  • A £125 recommend a friend scheme
  • A variety of daily, short-term, and long-term positions to suit your needs
  • No need for completion of time sheets
  • Pay via PAYE direct through Education Supply Pool and not an umbrella company
