Location and Pay: Newcastle, NE4 (Just an 8-minute drive from Newcastle Train Station)

Pay: £12.85 per hour (£50 per Sleep-In Shift)

Positions: 2 x Part-Time, up to 28hrs or Full Time - 37.5hrs

Training: Full training provided – no previous experience needed!

About the People We Support: You’ll be supporting two wonderful individuals in their 60s–70s who truly have a zest for life and love making the most of every day. They enjoy:

  • Trips to the cinema and theatre
  • Shopping trips and dining out
  • A great mix of music — from ABBA to Cliff Richard
  • Watching Eurovision and chatting all things pop and music

They bring energy, personality and a real sense of fun — and they’re looking for someone who can share in those moments. Both individuals have learning disabilities and dysphagia, so you’ll play an important role in providing safe, consistent and person‑centred support. At times, you may need to offer emotional reassurance during moments of distress, but you won’t be on your own – we provide full Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training to give you the skills and confidence you need.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Empowering Independence: Help them live their lives the way they choose, achieve their goals, and be themselves.
  • Daily Support: Assist with food shopping, bill payments, and domestic tasks like cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Providing Care: Administer medication and provide verbal prompts around personal care.

Shift Patterns:

  • Long Day Sleep‑In Shifts: 9am – 9am the following day
  • Sleep‑Ins: 10pm – 8am (Paid to Sleep)
  • Day Shifts: 8am - 10pm

We provide rotas at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work‑life balance, which we’re very passionate about!
