Responsibilities
- Provide first line support to vulnerable customers when the wider team or their support network is unavailable
- Maintain health and safety of the building, including patrols to check fire doors and secure premises
- Investigate suspicious activity and raise alarms to engage emergency services when required
- Ensure the premises remain clean and tidy, including basic custodial duties such as mopping and sweeping
- Use technology to monitor CCTV, update records, and communicate with colleagues
Qualifications & Skills
- Calm under pressure with strong communication skills
- Ability to recognize potential problems and intervene sensitively
- Experience supporting vulnerable or public service populations is a plus
- Sociable, interested in people’s stories, and enjoys learning about others
- Attention to detail and keen eye for behavioural changes
- Improved use of technology for CCTV monitoring and record keeping
- Enhanced DBS check (employer paid)
