Our client is looking for full‑time experienced trade plate drivers on a contracted self‑employed basis. Immediate starts are available for the right candidate. Trade plate drivers will collect and deliver new and used vehicles all over mainland UK in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Accurately appraise vehicles before collection and record any existing damage using the client’s app.
- Collect and deliver vehicles to customers across mainland UK, travelling far and wide across the country.
- Use mobile apps and email to assist with day‑to‑day workload.
- Adhere to scheduled start times based on carry‑over vehicles, including early starts and occasional late finishes.
- Maintain a calm, polite and professional manner when dealing with customers and contacts.
- Provide full planning and office support each working day and respond to out‑of‑hours emergency contacts.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 active penalty points.
- No disqualifications in the past 4 years and no active penalty codes DD, DG, DR, IN, MS, or TT.
- Age 30 or older.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Off‑road parking at home (e.g., driveway or official off‑road parking area).
- Smart appearance, disciplined, organised and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of mobile apps is an advantage.
