ESS Employment Ltd is looking for a CNC Turner Setter and Operator using Fanuc, Siemens & Mazatrol control panels, to join our client based in Nailsworth. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator/Miller/Turner to work on complex manufactured components. During peak manufacturing times the company require Setters and Operators to work a late shift. The hours for this shift would be: 14.00 - 23.00 Monday to Thursday and there is a 30% upload on your hourly rate.

To be successful in the role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator/Miller/Turner/Lathe
  • Ability to set intricate parts for milling
  • Flexible and adaptable to be able to complete all tasks with accuracy, and within fine tolerances
  • Experience with either Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol is essential
  • Experience of precision components is highly desirable
  • Operate CNC Machinery (CNC Mills) producing Aerospace Quality Machined Components
  • Select the required tooling to perform machining operations
  • Edit and adjust machining programs
  • Ensure compliance with all internal processes
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety Policies of the Business and contribute to a safe working environment
