About the Applicant

I am a 13-year-old boy living in the Cilfynydd area, I live with my mum, dad and younger sister. I have been diagnosed with ASD and ADHD, which can cause me to become frustrated and impatient. I am very active and enjoy using the trampoline and swimming, although I can get overwhelmed in busy places.

Purpose of Job

To assist and support me in my home and out in the community.

Hours of Work

6 hours a week 2:1 (3 hours per PA) after school / weekends.

Rate of Pay

£15.00 per hour.

Tasks Involved

  • Personal care, covering toileting needs.
  • To keep me safe at all times.
  • To encourage my independence.

About the Job

This part-time job requires a National Insurance number. A trial period will be necessary. The wage will be paid monthly with appropriate holiday pay. The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check, which will be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority). Relevant checks will ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK.
