The Company: Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer that has been at the forefront of the industry for many years.
A position has arisen for a CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator (Double Day Shift) within the machining department.
Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting & operating Mazak 4 & 5 Axis Machining Centres.
- Producing a wide and varied range of highly toleranced parts used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
- Understand Mazatrol CNC controls and be able to program/edit/improve existing and new parts.
- Work within a team of engineers to adhere to health & safety guidelines and rules.
- Promote positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H&S improvements & kaizen initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
- Solid understanding of setting & operating CNC controlled Machining Centres.
- Experience of safely using CNC controls.
- Experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Program from drawing Mazatrol CNC controls.
- Mechanical engineering apprenticeship/HNC or similar.
