About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you’ll support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents, including personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, and helping with daily activities in the home.
Responsibilities
- Support residents’ physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
- Perform personal care tasks: washing, dressing, hygiene, meal assistance.
- Help with daily activities in the home.
- Deliver care that respects and preserves each resident’s individuality.
- Provide compassionate end‑of‑life care when required.
- Identify signs of abuse, harm or neglect and take appropriate action.
- Attend safeguarding training appropriate to role and undertake additional training as needed.
- Seek advice and report concerns, escalating if action is not taken.
- Support digital care planning and use technology to streamline care.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience and/or training in personal care or a similar role; ability to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends, days and nights is required.
