Part-time Mission: To ensure that each guest has a comfortable and enjoyable stay and that their needs are met in the best possible way, going above and beyond what is expected of us. Finally, to present an excellent image of our hotel at an extremely high level of Guest Services. Also, ensure that our properties are maintained and presented to the highest standard possible; guests entering a property should always feel like they are the first one to have ever stayed at the property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all rooms are immaculate, orderly, and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ comfort.
  • Perform basic housekeeping duties, including replacing linens, arranging towels, emptying and sanitising bins, restocking toiletries in an orderly manner, vacuuming, dusting, removing cobwebs, cleaning blinds and curtains (where necessary), washing and ironing (when required).
  • Pick up larger objects off the floor, clean glass and windows, spot‑clean partition doors, electrical outlets, walls, and sideboards, sweep and mop the floors, and clean toilets and rearrange the room after guests check out.
  • Clean communal areas as and when required, collaborating closely with the Property Manager and Maintenance Personnel.
  • Use the cleaning app and upload pictures of the cleanings.
  • Ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes.
  • Respond to guests’ complaints in a timely and professional manner, and contact necessary team members to solve problems that may arise.
  • Understand Zeevou and our in‑house technology; maintain updated records of bookings and payments on Zeevou.
  • Track repeating issues and convey them to the Managers.
  • Inspect linens for stains, treat them as required, and manage laundry cycles (placing, washing, drying, and ironing).
  • Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to building management.
  • Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order.
  • Attend to customers upon entrance, present menus, and help customers select food or beverages.
  • Take and serve orders, issue bills and accept payments.
  • Address complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
  • Maintain serving areas.
  • Send reports to OE upon request.
  • Communicate with the remote team on Discord and participate in weekly meetings.
  • Perform other responsibilities delegated by the onsite manager or OE.
