We are representing a reputable plant fleet management company operating since 1987 with nationwide coverage, in their search for a Mobile Plant Engineer to serve Gloucestershire and the surrounding region.

The Mobile Plant Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a diverse fleet of plant equipment, including dumpers, diggers, telehandlers, trailers, pallet trucks, and pumps.

  • Competitive salary up to £41,000 depending on experience

  • Service, inspect, repair, and refurbish plant equipment and attachments
  • Diagnose and resolve hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues
  • Respond to breakdowns promptly and perform preventative maintenance
  • Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety procedures
  • Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports
  • Support the delivery of exceptional service standards to clients Requirements:
  • Certified CAP Qualification for Powered Access Equipment
  • IPAF Demonstrator Certifications for Categories 1B, 3A, and 3B
  • Strong knowledge of powered access equipment and mobile plant machinery
  • Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of LOLER regulations (training can be provided if necessary)
  • Proactive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
  • Own basic toolset-specialist tools will be supplied
