Mobile Gas Engineer (Commercial) – Northwest Midlands (Based from HMP Stafford)

• Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
• Salary: £35,504 - £44,830 per year (depending on experience)
• Hours: 39 hours per week, 1 in 4 weekends (15% allowance)

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Gas Engineer to join our team, working across a small number of sites in the local region. This is a varied role where you will carry out maintenance and repairs on commercial gas systems, helping to keep essential facilities safe and running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
• Service and inspect gas appliances
• Work on boilers, heaters, and water systems
• Complete minor repairs and installations
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

What we’re looking for

• Gas Safe registered Commercial gas qualifications (e.g., CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/A)
• Experience working with commercial gas systems
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to work independently
