Position: School Cleaner - Required June 2026
Contract: Permanent, all year round (not term time only)
Hours: Monday - Friday 3.30pm – 5.30pm; school holiday opening/closing hours – any time when school is open, 7.00am-4.30pm (4.00pm on Fridays)
Salary: £12.85 per hour; annual salary range £24,796 - £25,185; pro rata for 10 hrs per week: £6,701 - £6,806
Responsibilities
- Perform a range of cleaning tasks and duties as directed by the school
- Ensure required standards and quality levels are maintained
- Use all cleaning materials and equipment safely and properly, following instructions and procedures from the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership
- Complete appropriate records and documentation as required
- Complete online training as required
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and security regulations
- Carry out other duties as required and commensurate with the grade of the post
