Masterclass Education is working with a highly regarded independent school in the Bristol area to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL). This vacancy has arisen due to the expansion of the languages curriculum and increased student uptake at GCSE and A Level, offering an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic academic community and inspire students to become confident linguists and global citizens.

About the Role

  • Deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5 depending on experience.
  • Teach one or more languages (e.g. French, Spanish, German, or other specialisms welcomed).
  • Develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through immersive and interactive teaching.
  • Promote cultural awareness and a love of languages.
  • Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Contribute positively to departmental development and wider school enrichment activities, including trips and exchanges.

About You

  • Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) or have strong subject expertise.
  • Have excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for languages and international culture.
