About this job:
An experienced, organised manager and team player with excellent standards in customer services, food, bar and event management. Oversee and manage the day to day running of a busy and vibrant bar, kitchen and venue/event space at Menai Bridge cricket club with approximately 30 part time staff, a senior kitchen operative and senior bar operators.
- Managing bar and kitchen staff
- Liaising regularly with Trustees and Hospitality Management Team
- Recruiting, retaining and training staff
- Organising rotas
- Managing event bookings
- Providing excellent customer service
- Placing orders and managing stock (food and drinks wholesalers/suppliers)
- Quality control and standards
- Manage health, safety and food hygiene
- Developing relationships with sponsors, local community groups, business, sport, schools and event users
- Proactively enhance business, revenue and relationships with community groups and the wider community
- Regular weekly reporting, monthly management meetings, sales and data analysis and AGM
Applicants must have significant hospitality and management experience. Hours based around the needs of the club to include weekends and busy periods. Salary attractive based on experience. Welsh speaker advantageous but not essential. Interest in cricket a bonus.
