I am a 41-year-old man on the autism spectrum (Asperger's) who loves getting out and about, though I sometimes need encouragement to do so. My interests include Lego, swimming, films, cars, and online gaming. I would really value a Personal Assistant who can support me in pursuing my hobbies, keeping active, and engaging socially, all while providing practical help at home.
We are looking for someone who is patient, encouraging, and understanding, with experience supporting people with a range of mental health needs. You will help me with day-to-day activities such as:
- Prompting with personal care
- Medication reminders
- Keeping my personal space clean and tidy
- Bed changing
- Accompanying me to swimming on Fridays
- Going shopping
- Taking exercise
- Enjoying outings and excursions together
The right person will be reliable, approachable, and have the ability to motivate me in a positive and respectful way.
