Wiltshire Wildlife Trust are looking for more Education and Wellbeing Support Workers to support our forest school sessions in the Melksham area with school groups and individual children with various complex needs. The YEW Team has grown in recent years due to the success of the Forest School and Education programmes offered by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust. This post supports the Trust’s aim of helping people to live more sustainably and engage with the benefits of the natural world. Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is a national leader in the use of green prescription and Forest School techniques to support children, young people and adults with a range of needs and abilities. This role will continue to develop and progress this work.

Responsibilities:

  • Support forest school sessions in the Melksham area with school groups and individual children with various complex needs.
  • Contribute to the YEW Team’s Forest School and Education programmes and help develop and progress this work.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • At least two years’ experience working with children with a variety of needs.
  • Own means of transport to get to sites.

We are particularly in need in the Melksham area.
