Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter available for an immediate start? We are recruiting for a hands‑on maintenance professional to join a busy industrial site near Bangor for an initial 4‑week temporary assignment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same, supporting essential plant operations and maintenance activities.

Duties will include:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on fixed plant machinery
  • Supporting plant improvement and maintenance projects
  • Completing risk assessments and associated health & safety paperwork
  • Liaising with site management and operations teams regarding repair priorities and maintenance requirements
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults efficiently
  • Using pulling and lifting equipment safely and effectively

We are looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in mechanical fitting and industrial maintenance
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience working with conveyors, pumps, pipes, valves, filter systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings and gearboxes
  • A good understanding of health, safety and environmental procedures
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team
  • The ability to drive and access own vehicle as site not on public transport

This is a full‑time temporary role that will include working weekends, for approximately 4 weeks initially, based near Bangor, Gwynedd. With an hourly pay rate of £16.50 holiday pay.
