About this job:

  • Training Practice: Support GP trainees, F1 doctors, Medical and Nursing students.
  • Enhanced services: Joint injections, minor surgery, care homes, chronic disease management and many more.
  • Flexible Consultations: Mix of telephone and face-to-face appointments EMIS System, WCCG, GPTR.

Responsibilities:

  • Telephone consultations.
  • Surgery consultations.
  • Queries.
  • Home visits.
  • Reviewing test results.
  • Paperwork.
  • Recording clear consultation notes to agreed standards.
  • Issuing computer generated repeat and acute prescriptions.
  • Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary whenever clinically appropriate.
  • Providing counselling and health education.
  • Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate.
  • All normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
