Duties

  • Perform complex diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of modern vehicles
  • Lead technical projects and provide support to junior technicians in the workshop
  • Ensure all work is completed to main dealer standards, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety regulations
  • Advise service advisors and customers on technical issues, repairs, and maintenance options as a Master Technician / MOT Tester
  • Maximise upsell opportunities for repairs and parts, increasing workshop profitability
  • Accurately record all service and repair work in line with company procedures
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and professionalism at all times as a Master Technician / MOT Tester

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification as a Vehicle Technician
  • Current MOT tester licence
  • Proven diagnostic and problem-solving skills aligned with a Master Technician / MOT Tester role
  • Experience working on modern vehicle systems
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Full UK driving licence
