Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality clinical and psychosocial care within HMP Stoke Heath.
Responsibilities
- Act as a named nurse for a defined caseload, providing assessment, care planning, treatment reviews and evidence‑based interventions for individuals with diverse and complex needs.
- Contribute to therapeutic group programmes, support continuity of care across the criminal justice pathway, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Key responsibilities include safe medication administration, drug screening, accurate clinical reporting, and ensuring patient safety in line with Trust policies and NMC standards.
- Play an active role in service development, clinical governance, and maintaining your own professional competence.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with Band 5
- Prison clearance required
- Experience in complex needs within a correctional setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of NMC standards and Trust policies
