We are currently recruiting for an Extra Works Coordinator / Scheduler to join a busy and fast-paced team based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong coordination, scheduling, and administration experience who enjoys working in a client-focused environment. This role is initially offered on a 3-month contract, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and submitting quotations for additional works
  • Scheduling works and coordinating engineers/contractors
  • Managing and maintaining a quote tracker
  • Raising purchase orders (POs)
  • Communicating with clients and providing regular updates
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure works are completed efficiently
  • Monitoring jobs from quotation stage through to completion
  • Ensuring works are scheduled within agreed timeframes

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a coordinator, scheduler, or administration role
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with quotations, scheduling systems, and purchase orders is desirable
