We’re looking for a proactive Technical Data Engagement Manager to lead and improve asset data quality across our UK&I operations. You’ll act as the key link between the AMS team, operational leaders, surveying teams and clients ensuring accurate, reliable asset data from bid stage through mobilisation and into steady‑state delivery. In this role, you’ll manage surveying activity, oversee business demand, lead a team of analysts and surveyors and drive continuous improvement in how asset data is collected, validated and used.

Responsibilities

  • Lead asset data collection and act as SME for surveying across the business.
  • Manage internal and outsourced surveying teams, including Digital Asset Capture teams.
  • Ensure seamless integration with CAFM, CMMS and FM Systems teams.
  • Attend client/account meetings to define scope, agree surveying requirements and initiate projects.
  • Produce lifecycle, condition and surveying reports.
  • Advise on asset list risks at bid stage and during mobilisation.
  • Monitor progress, escalate issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement data strategies, policies and quality standards.
  • Improve master data (taxonomy, attributes, maintenance schedules, metadata).
  • Lead and support full lifecycle analysis and quality control.
  • Manage team performance and ensure safe working practices.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong understanding of hard & soft FM and contract risk.
  • Experience with CMMS/EAMS/CAFM systems.
  • Deep knowledge of asset types, data structures and surveying.
  • Project and programme management capability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills.
  • Experience leading change programmes.
  • Knowledge of ISO 55000.
  • Desirable Engineering/technical qualification (ONC/HNC/HND/Degree).
  • IAM certification or professional membership (IAM, CIBSE, RICS).
  • Experience implementing quality or operational frameworks.
  • Understanding of M&E systems and terminology.
