The Study Support Service Facilitator supports the delivery of services within the NIHR Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) Study Support Service, integrated within the national Study Support Service. The role engages partners across the region, fosters collaboration, facilitates communities and events, maintains proficiency in cost and attribution tools, and supports regional organisations with data requirements. The facilitator will underlie the success of the Study Support Service, providing essential support, contributing to the overarching goals of the RDN, and line managing a Study Support Service Officer. Line management responsibilities include staff reviews, identifying training and development needs, managing performance, and ensuring skills and capabilities meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of the RRDN Study Support Service and coordinate with national Service.
- Engage and collaborate with multiple regional partners through communities and events.
- Maintain proficiency in cost and attribution tools to support data requirements.
- Line manage a Study Support Service Officer, conducting staff reviews and performance management.
- Ensure review processes and skill development align with current and future business needs.
