This role is a Band 7 Senior Mental Health Practitioner / Clinical Psychologist in Central Manchester CAMHS. The post holder will deliver specialist interventions and high‑quality clinical care to children, young people and their families, including:
- Performing comprehensive mental health, risk, family and social assessments
- Formulating and managing cases in line with the THRIVE framework
- Providing therapeutic interventions and ensuring safe, effective decision‑making in complex and high‑risk situations
- Contributing to safeguarding, crisis response and risk management
- Delivering supervision, teaching and consultation to junior staff, students and wider professionals
- Participating in service development, partnership working and multi‑agency collaboration across health, social care, education and voluntary sectors
- Supporting clinical governance, service evaluation and continuous professional development in line with Trust policies and standards
