Responsibilities
Between 0800‑1700 daily, you will work within the ENT team. Out‑of‑hours you will take part on the emergency on‑call rota (between 1:8 and 1:12). Your weekly timetable is designed to give you a range of experience, including clinic, theatre and on‑call. You will work with the team to co‑ordinate patient care and will be responsible for the assessment and care of ENT patients, as well as the training and supervision of less experienced colleagues. Appointees will be expected to participate in departmental governance, educational and academic activities and will be assigned an educational supervisor, who will also conduct their annual appraisal.
