The post holder will be working in Harpurhey clinic. This post is supported by our Consultant and Specialist in Special Care Dentistry, our Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry and our Clinical Director. Senior Dental Officers, Dental Officers, Therapists and Dental Nurses with extended duties complete the clinical team, with support from our fully qualified DCP and Admin staff. We have a forward‑thinking team, and pride ourselves in providing evidence‑based prevention and dental treatment to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care for priority groups and vulnerable members of the population, including children and adults with additional needs.
- Carry out such care from any Trust premises or any other appropriate setting, including domiciliary care, according to the needs of the Service.
- Participate in oral screening and epidemiology programmes as required.
- Support the training of junior members of staff.
