Research & Innovation at MFT is dedicated to driving continuous improvement in the care our patients receive through clinical research, supporting research across a diverse range of clinical areas and delivering improved diagnostics, treatments and devices for patients in Manchester and beyond.
We are seeking a full‑time Band 5 Senior Clinical Research Practitioner to coordinate and deliver clinical research studies at MFT, contributing to the development of research within the Gynaecology Research Team.
Responsibilities- Assist in the management, coordination and facilitation of clinical trial activities to support the delivery of current and future studies on time and to target.
- Provide specialist research and clinical care for participants and patients enrolling in a variety of research studies.
- Work across Research & Innovation to support research studies across MFT as the service needs dictate.
- Maintain an appropriate patient/participant‑focused environment within the research setting, working with clinical investigators and sponsor companies to manage trial protocols.
- Ensure data collection meets the highest standards, facilitating the production of good quality research with a commitment to participants’ safety and wellbeing.
- Participate fully in personal development and review processes to achieve the knowledge and skills identified in the competency framework and competencies for this post.
- Degree level education or equivalent knowledge and experience in clinical research.
- Previous experience working in a clinical or patient‑facing environment.
- Flexible approach to working and the ability to work across sites where required.
