Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of property law matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, development agreements and land assembly.
  • Lead on complex, high-value and politically sensitive property transactions.
  • Draft, negotiate and complete a variety of commercial and residential property documents.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on legal risk, governance and commercial considerations.
  • Support strategic projects such as regeneration, investment and development programmes.
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and legal officers, ensuring quality and consistency of advice.
  • Ensure legal work is delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with organisational objectives.
  • Keep up to date with relevant legislation, case law and best practice in property law.
