The Education Specialists are working in partnership with a nurturing and inclusive primary school in South Manchester to recruit a dedicated Primary School Teacher (QTS) with a strong interest or experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN). The Role
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to meet a range of SEN needs
- Support pupils with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
- Create a structured, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Work closely with the SENCo, teaching assistants, and external professionals
- Monitor and track progress, adapting approaches to support individual learning plans
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience working with, or a strong interest in, supporting pupils with SEN
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and strong behaviour management skills
- Is confident in adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Works effectively as part of a team and communicates well with stakeholders
- Is committed to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
