Responsibilities

  • Deliver all aspects of painting and decorating, both internal and external
  • Prepare surfaces, apply finishes, and carry out repairs to a high standard
  • Identify and resolve issues such as damaged paintwork or mould
  • Work safely at height using ladders, scaffolds, or platforms
  • Ensure customers’ homes are left clean, safe, and tidy
  • Use digital systems to record work and manage jobs efficiently
  • Carry out risk assessments and follow health & safety procedures
  • Manage tools, materials, and equipment responsibly

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of health & safety
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Social housing or maintenance experience
  • Multi‑trade skills
  • Experience planning and ordering materials
