You will provide professional, confidential and comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Nursing Officer. This demanding role requires an adaptable and flexible individual who can prioritise their own workload, manage deadlines and support senior colleagues. You will also lead and line‑manage the Patient Services Administration Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Chief Nursing Officer’s diary and coordinate, arrange and minute meetings.
- Line‑manage the Patient Services Administration Team.
- Prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a high‑pressure NHS environment.
- Maintain confidentiality, handle data protection issues and patient confidentiality.
- Support clinical teams to keep services running smoothly and create safe, welcoming environments for patients and staff.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a senior secretarial/administrative role within the NHS.
- Excellent computer literacy – MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Co‑pilot.
- Self‑motivated, energetic, and able to engage and motivate others.
- Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential matters.
