We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative within our Milk Filling department at our Müller Manchester Dairy. This role will involve operating our manufacturing machinery in order to produce the best quality product. You will need to have a strong team‑working ethic, be results driven and proactive. The ideal candidate will have experience in problem solving and fault finding as well as quality control and testing of a finished product.
Contract: Full Time / Perm (40.25 hours per week)
Salary: £33,666.39
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days/2 nights 7-7)
Location: Manchester
Responsibilities:
- Operate our machinery and processes effectively, delivering the required product output.
- Maintain hygiene standards within the workplace as per standard working conditions.
- System upkeep and related responsibilities.
- Cleaning activities.
- Quality control inspection, assuring customer expectations are maintained.
- Materials replenishment as required.
- First line maintenance checks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous manual packing work desirable, though not necessary.
Capability & Accountability:
- A flexible approach; able to adapt to changing daily production plans.
- Able to demonstrate initiative and prioritisation skills.
- Effective team worker.
