The successful person will have high expectations for drawing out the very best from our children and the vision to deliver a rich, cross-curricular curriculum. Responsibilities
- Have experience of teaching within the EYFS (essential)
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of early reading and phonics, including experience of the Little Wandle programme
- Have an understanding of continuous provision
- Have an understanding of the Mastering Number approach (desirable)
- Have evidence of successful teaching experience
- Be able to support and help develop a vision for outstanding education which promotes spiritual, moral and cultural development
- Be reflective, enthusiastic and committed to inclusive practice

Contract and Schedule
St James’ C of E Primary School is looking to recruit a reflective, dynamic individual to join our dedicated team. An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of our EYFS team, teaching our Reception class on a two-term fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave starting in September. The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring that every child reaches their full potential by developing a love for learning within a vibrant, exciting classroom environment.
