Your role: The Management Trainee Programme is designed for individuals eager to engage in the world of local government and develop skills that will set them on a successful path. Over two rewarding years, you will rotate through various teams and departments, spending 12 months in each role, ensuring every day offers fresh challenges and opportunities for growth. You will be actively involved in projects that help shape the city and benefit our communities. You will collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, learning from experienced professionals and fellow trainees as you participate in significant projects. Additionally, you will earn a nationally recognised qualification either a Level 4 Associate Project Manager or Level 4 Policy Officer Apprenticeship while you work. You will receive comprehensive support, including dedicated time to study and opportunities to tailor your learning to your interests. The qualification will correspond to your job placements and prior experience, enabling you to maximise your potential. Alongside this, you will access further training and professional development to enhance your skills. You will join a cohort of fellow trainees, forming a valuable network from the outset.
